Competent Foundation Holds Blood Donation Camp

CHANDIGARH AS many as 341 units of blood were collected in the 17th blood donation camp organised by Competent Foundation here on Tuesday in association with the DAV Collage. The Governor of Punjab and Administratior of UT, chadigarh V.P. Singh Badnore , was the cheif guest. Speaking on the occassion Badnore stressed on the importance of blood donation as a service to save lives . Advisor to the administration Parimal Rai also attended the function as guest of honour. In addition 146 people pledged to donate their eyes and other organs .
