341 units of blood collected at donation camp

AS MANY as 341 units of blood were collected in the 17th blood donation camp organised by competent Foundation here today in association with DAV Collage. The Governor of Punjab anf UT Administration of UT, Chandigarh V.P.Singh Badone, was the chief Guest,who stressed on the importance of blood donation as a selfless service to save lives .In addition ,146 people pledged to donate their eyes and other organs. Dr jagat Ram, Director ,PGI, thanked Competent Group for this selfless service to the society. Each donor was presented with a certificate from PGI.
